* These are characters from the RPG's original Yahoo!Group, who have either died or have "unknown" whereabouts due to the players going inactive or leaving the RPG for different reasons. With the exception of Victoria Huntington Barbossa, these characters listed no longer have available bios, but played a part in past storylines, which have been summarized here.
NAME | PROFESSION | SHIP AFFILIATION | BIO | FACE CLAIM | STATUS |
Victoria Huntington Barbossa | Lady, Pirate, wife of Captain Hector Barbossa | Esperanza, Red Devil | Click for bio | Catherine Zeta-Jones | Deceased |
Gabriella | Gypsy pirate | Black Pearl | Long-time friend of Jack Sparrow and former lover of Bootstrap Bill Turner with whom she bore a daughter, Isabella. During her last foray with sailing the open seas with Jack Sparrow, she was killed by Barbossa in a duel with swords. Her last words were to Jack: "I'm so sorry." | Salma Hayek | Deceased |
Isabella | Gypsy pirate | Black Pearl | Illegitmate daughter of Gabriella & "Bootstrap" Bill Turner, and older half-sister of Will Turner. Left Puerto Vallarta after the murder of her cousin to sail after her mother, only to learn from Jack Sparrow she had been murdered by Barbossa. She went on to be a part of Jack's crew for a time. | Jessica Alba | Unknown |
Ichabod Kane | Mercenary | Black Pearl | Put to sea by a merchant ship's captain when he suspected Ichabod of piracy, eventually joined the crew of the Black Pearl. | ? | Unknown |
Dr. Shawn Gibson | Doctor | Black Pearl | A young doctor (and son of a pirate) in Port Royal who once attended a dinner at the Governor's mansion and took care of difficult patient Gwen Fox after she had been shot by Barbossa. He later joined the crew of the Pearl, not as a pirate but to offer his assistance in the doctorly way when the crew needed to be bandaged up after a fight. | ? | Unknown |
Oliver Shrine | Will Turner's apprentice, Cabin boy | Dauntless, Black Pearl | Originally Will Turner's apprentice at the blacksmith shop, the young teenager decided to stowaway aboard the Dauntless when Will Turner took off with Elizabeth a second time aboard the Black Pearl. Once discovered aboard the Dauntless by Norrington, Oliver was given the opportunity to work aboard the ship as a cabin boy, though Oliver lacked in manners from the start, he eventually learned to keep himself in check. When the Dauntless finally happened upon the Black Pearl, Oliver spotted Will and seized the opportunity to swing across to the pirate ship and join its crew. | [young] Jonathan Taylor Thomas | Unknown |
Mena Harker | Gypsy, one-time cook on the Dauntless | Dauntless (briefly) | Danced the town square of Port Royal during a festival when money was running low for her. Despite her sex, Norrington allowed her to temporarily join the Dauntless as the ship cook while they made their passage into the Caribbean to go after the Black Pearl to "rescue" Elizabeth and Gwen from the pirate Jack Sparrow. The Dauntless eventually picked up Branwen O'Driscoll who had been thrown overboard by the Red Devil and Mena assisted in taking care of the woman. When the Dauntless returned to Port Royal, Norrington no longer required her cooking services aboard the ship and Mena once again found herself destitute until she met up with Branwen again, who gave her a place to say. She was caught stealing apples from a vendor but was saved by Jocelyn Everdeen. | Kirsten Dunst | Unknown |
Jocelyn Everdeen | Pirate | Black Pearl (briefly) | Daughter of two pirates, and a pirate herself with a "P" for pirate branded on her shoulder to prove it. She happened to be Dr. Gibson's first patient in Port Royal; he took care of a deep cut she'd received to the shoulder when two men tried to rob her, which ended in her shooting said men. She found Branwen O'Driscoll, to lodge at the same residence and see if she knew of a ship to find passage on. She soon set her eyes on the Black Pearl. With her cousin Joe, she teamed up with Branwen to take any ship they could during Barbossa's second siege on Port Royal. When she spotted Barbossa on the docks in the midst of a fight with Jack Sparrow, she cried out that he was responsible for killing her family. She never did find a ship that night and soon came to the assistance of Mena Harker, who had been caught stealing apples from a vendor, by threatening the vendor at gunpoint and paying for the apples herself. Finally, she found passage on the Black Pearl, welcomed aboard by Anamaria and Gibbs. The length of her stay aboard the pirate ship is unknown. | ? | Unknown |
Branwen O'Driscoll | Unknown | None | At some point she was captured by the crew of the Red Devil and thrown into the brig, where she made the acquaintance of Jack Sparrow & Gwen Fox, with whom she joined in escaping, only for all three to be caught in the act. She and Jack were tied to separate masts overnight till Barbossa decided to throw her overboard with only a scrap of wood to float on, and the chance to be found by a passing ship. Eventually the Dauntless picked her up and brought her to safety. She soon made a home for herself in Port Royal and welcomed a destitute Mena into the home she stayed in. She was feeling antsy to get back out to sea and suggested to Mena they find a ship willing to take them. When a female pirate by the name of Jocelyn Everdeen showed up at her door in search of a ship, it sparked Branwen's desire to find a ship of her own even more and she teamed up with Jocelyn and Jocelyn's cousin Joe to attempt to take a ship during Barbossa's second siege on Port Royal. Her fate afterward is unknown. It is not impossible that she was killed during the siege. | Cameron Diaz | Unknown, possibly deceased? |
Raid | Teenage Pirate Captain | Hellsing | An arrogant 14 year old who somehow came to captain the pirate ship Hellsing (perhaps he took over for his father upon death?). He was cocky, annoying and originally intended to sack the Black Pearl after its fight with the Red Devil. Upon realizing the ship was in disarray and people were on board, he decided against an attack and to help the crew of the Pearl instead; possibly his only good deed ever. The goodness didn't last long as he began to throw his weight around and his crew got increasingly angry at him. They didn't like him and mutineed against him while aboard the Pearl. One of the Hellsing's crew, angry at the empty threats of being killed in his sleep by Raid and for Raid killing his parrot, slit the teenage captain's throat, killing him. The crew threw the body overboard, and Anderson, who was possibly the First Mate, now turned Captain, gave his apologies to the Pearl's crew for having to suffer the blight that was Raid, bid the Pearl adieu as they returned to the Hellsing and sailed away for parts unknown. | ? | Deceased |
Tristan De La Rosa | Lady, former slave, possibly turned pirate | Negligence, Black Pearl | From Galveston, she was due to be married but ran off, only to be attacked and stolen by a slaver ship, then brought to Tortuga to be sold as a slave. Jack Sparrow came to her assistance, paying the Slaver Captain selling her 100 gold doubloons and after a small scuffle acted in true knight in shining armor on her behalf. He brought her aboard the Pearl while in pursuit of the Red Devil and was frightened greatly when the ships began to attack each other at sea and received a few bumps, bruises and minor injuries. She rose to the occasion and wrestled a sword away from one of Barbossa's crew, got blood on her hands and assisted an injured Jack. The pair got a bit drunk after the battle was over and while Tristan found herself attracted to Jack, as most women find themselves, but passed out shortly thereafter. Sometime after that, Jack most likely dropped her off at a safer port where she may or may not have turned pirate and found another ship to sail on. | ? | Unknown |
Portia | Pirate | Black Pearl (briefly) | Pirate aboard the Black Pearl for a short time during Jack's pursuit of the Red Devil, around the time both crews battled it out at the Old Cardinal Inn in Tortuga and inadvertantly burned the place down. | ? | Unknown |
Captain Siren | Pirate Captain | Poseidon | Originally had her eyes set on purchasing Tristan in Tortuga, eventually came to be in New Orleans where she became better acquainted with Jack Sparrow and may or may not have been briefly intimate with him, despite his heart belonging to Gwen. | ? | Unknown |
